Yes they are made from solid marine-grade High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) which is 100% impervious to water. The cabinets can be completely soaked.

No, They are not watertight. water will do nothing to harm the structure or integrity of the cabinetry. For most applications this is sufficient to keep your items safe from the weather.
